Herculining Hardtop?

I decided this morning that instead of painting the hardtop, I would Herculine it. Just finished rolling it on right now and now I'm having second thoughts (too late!). The top needed to be repainted anyways but I decided this would be the better option.

Anyone ever Herculine their hardtop?

Pics coming!

Someone was talking about herculining the hard top was a not a good idea just the other day. Something about it not flexing would cause it to chip and look bad.

well the girlfriends CJ has the hardtop herculined or rino or some type of liner... only thing I can see is that it scratches the hood when you open it up all the way. and looks weird. but nothing can really damage it now...

I was the one debating between lining my top or spray painting my top. After reading everyone's opinions, they convinced me to go ahead and paint mine.

I can't imagine it looks horrible though. Can't wait to see your pics.
