Hey guys new guys and lift questions

Found a rubricon express lift 3.5 and 4.5 not sure what I want yet. They both say for I believe the n231 transfercase you need a sye and im guessing longer cv drive shaft. Does anyone have either of these kits? And most importantly can they be installed in a garage? w/o welder ? Ive only had my jeep for a week now so Yes I really am just that new, so please help a brotha out

the kits can definatly be done in the garage, theres nothing to weld. Just replacing things like springs, shocks, and depending on the kit you buy maybe control arms.
They say the SYE is required but instead of doing that to save some money you could install a transfercase lowering kit and a motor mount lift with the 3.5. You may be able to get away with it, not promising it will get rid of vibrations. Althought the sye and cv shaft are the right way to do it if its in your budget.
With the 4.5 I would def. get the sye and cv kit.

When I do my 3.5 im just gonna do the TC drop and maybe the motor mount lift while i save money for the SYE and CV

Ok cool thanks man....engine mount lift kit kind of sounds like it would be a pain! From reading around you basically just put spacers between the tc and the frame and im guessing under the motor mounts right? I found a sye for like 300 bucs or so idk how much the drive shaft would be, Seems like I might as well get those to make sure its a good job not a ghetto one lol. Just have to save a little..... How hard is a sye install?

look here for a full kit...less than 500
Advance Adapters Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit + TW Drive Shaft

as for the install, Im not sure. Like I said Im gonna run the motor mount lift and the TC drop till I have enough for the SYE and CV. But again, like the lift, if your somewhat mechanically inclined, Im sure it cant be to hard to do.

Look on that site for the RE lift as well, they usually run good sales with free shocks and such.
