I'm convinced that I'll need this so it permanently mounted to my swing-out tire carrier. I recently removed it from the front bumper when I almost destroyed it on a wheeling trip.

I plan to mount mine to my tire carrier also, but I'd like to find a way to protect it from Mother Nature. Has anybody mounted a case and then stored the jack in that?

you can find a very long and thin plastic bag and cover your jack with that and then use few bungee cords to hold it in place. A bag like the one where you put the stock wheel nut wrench just a lot longer...

I'd rather put it inside though across the roll bar where its out of the rain and whatever else nature throws at you and also out of thief's eyes. Again check out nicos thread for more images.

Mine went to the tire carrier to as soon as I got it.

You can see it behind the spare in this pic.

Hi Lift Receiver Mount

Here's a great idea!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MESE:IT&ih=007

Let's me take it along or leave it in the garage depending on what's planned.

The problem with mounting it to your bumper is the jack gets all torn up when it gets hit by rocks or dragged in the dirt.

Wow, for that price you could buy two more jacks. I wouldn't pay that for a mount!!!
There's too many other ways to do it.

2x any one ever tried to mount a high lift on the roll bar but on top? It wouldn't take up precious space in the trunk area and also wouldnt be in the way.

that would work. but i would mount it above the rear roll bar in the rear.
but with closed ST or with the HT you canīt remove the hilift if itīs mounted in this way.

Im gonna make a bracket for it on my rear bumper. I have a couple extra rear bumpers laying around so I'll come up with something

yeah, that would suck for them, besides the hitch and shackles going through their grill.

Yes but it would also damage and bend the jack too.. also it would be pretty unsafe when wheeling.
