Does anyone know if this procedure will work on a Chev PU? I have a 2006 Chev Colorado PU and would love to have the fog/driving lights stay on when the hi beams are used.

Definitely intend to do it on my 2001 Wrangler as soon as possible. Very good instructions.

Do you know how to reverse this? My fogs only come on with the high beams, is there a way to make them come on anytime the lights are on?

Read the entire thread, that is what is being dscussed. The description for the mod is in there. You bend a pin on one of the fog relays.

I have no fog lights anymore, but I'm wondering if I could get some little LEDS to attach to my aftermarket bumper and use the factory hookups. My only concern is if the fog lights come on when using any other lights and it could be to bright for oncoming traffic, anyone know how I could do this, or if the fog lights only come on when I pull the deal out? Wow this sounds really stupid but I don't really know how to explain my idea any other way!

I'm still confused. In rereading the thread this is to make fog work with high beam. Right now mine only turn on when high beam is engaged. If I switch to low beam my dogs go off. The dogs aren't on a switch just wired directly to the headlights. So if I adjust the relay will it work with low beam also??

Sounds like an after market setup from a previous owner not done correctly. You need to add a switch and relay to control them.

Fogs are really meant to be used just with low beam, having them come on just with the high is totally backwards.

A lot of us like them accessable anytime. When I'm driving to a dirt road into a campsite the highs are on, but it's nice to add the fogs to see the sides of the road.

If you are wiring it up yourself tap the parking lights for the switch contol voltage. Then you can turn them on whenever you want, but they will go off when the headlights do.

What terminal number on the bottom of the relay do you bend? I'm guessing either Terminal 87 or 87a.

I'll take it back to the shop that set it up. Thanks.

I got my KC #6314 quad headlight kit yesterday. Can anyone offer any advice on wiring it in, possibly someone that has already added this to their Jeep?

Thanks for this write-up! You're all right, it was extremely easy. It took longer to read it than it took to do it.

A small piece of scotch tape over the tab works and is easy to reverse if you ever want to.
