HighRock 4x4 Grille Gaurd Light install Question

Has anyone mounted lights onto the Best Top HighRock 4x4 Grille Guard?
They come with mounting points but there are no premade holes in the Grille Guard to run wires through.

Just wondering if anyone has drilled their own and if there were any issues with rust or water filling up the grille guard. I was thinking about drilling my own then running the wire and sealing the holes, with wire in them, with black slicone to help keep water from getting inside the Grille guard.

Any feedback as to what has been done in the past of if my idea will work would be great.

Thanks,

Will

BUMP!! How did you guys run the wires for your lights. I know a lot of you have grille gaurds with lights mounted to them. Even if they are not BestTop I would like to know how other people are rigging theirs.

When I had lights on top of my hoop, I ran them down the back and zip tied them where they wouldn't show. I then ran the wires below the radiator and up to where the relay and such were.

If you look for threads started by me, you will find a writeup for lighting and I show how I ran the wiring. Or pm me and I'll send you a PDF of the same thing.
