Lightbulb HiLift Jack Hood Mount/Windshield Washer Relocation solution

I've seen a few notes about the HiLift jack hood mount and the problem it causes with the windshield washer fluid nozzle.

I have the Warrior Products hood mount and light bar. I really wanted to mount the lights, but it would've completely blocked the already partially-blocked windshield washer nozzle.

I emailed WP and asked them if the windshield washer nozzle relocation kit would work on a TJ. They told me it wasn't compatable. I ordered it anyway, figuring I could make changes that were necessary. If I couldn't, I'd just return it.

The relocation bracket still fits in the cowl of the TJ. The only additional step you'll have to take is drilling a hole in the wall between the engine compartment and the underside of the cowl. Thread the hose through, and follow the directions on the sheet where necessary.

Good luck!

Great write up. I will definitely order that kit for my TJ as well. I just ordered my hi-lift today and I'm going to mount it on the hood as well, with some brackets I found on another forum half the price of all the others . What size hole did you drill in the cowl?

Thanks! I don't remember which bit I used. I held a few drill bit ends up to the end of the tubing. I found one that was similar in size and just went a step up from that.

I actually didn't need to relocate the nozzle. I bought some brackets off eBay for $30 and they worked perfect. The nozzle is not blocked at all! Thanks for the write up though!
