Hinge lamps, how to run the wiring?

OK going to add the hinge mounted KC's. Looking for info and photos if possible of how you ran the wiring. As in how did you go into the body with the wires?

Thanks in advance.

I'd like to help you out, I really would. I have the hinge mounts, they relocate the mirrors as well. I still haven't got those damn T-40's out yet though. If yours are stuck, Get a soldering gun(heavy duty), heat it up and stick it in the middle where the bit goes. I've heard this melts the thread lock. Wish I heard this b4 I stripped on of the bolts. AHHHHHH, TORX suck!!!!!! Anywho, once I get the mounts mounted, I'll get back to you about the wiring aspect. Well thats if you don't figure something out first. If thats the case, post how you do it, Make my life a little easier. Thanks.

I have a light bar and I ran the wires down the passenger side, behind the antenna, the squeezed the wires flat, taped them and tucked them under the hood where I have all my relays above the battery. I would assume you could also rmove the panel that the wipers come out of and feed the wire in under that. I haven't removed it yet on mine, but I'm sure you could find a place to drill a hole in under there.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about.
Mounting the lights and removing the bolts is no problem.

It's getting a nice clean routing of the wires from the lamp down through the body.

From my looking at it, holes and grommets are looking more and more as to how I'll have to go with it.

Into the top cowl panel then down into the body to make the runs to the relay/switch.
Then through the firewall to get to the battery.

If you got pics of your install I'd love to see em.

I have the wireless Warn lights so there is nothing that goes into the cab of the Jeep. I tucked the wires for my lights down into the hood cowl and then drilled a small hole into the engine compartment from there. If you pop off the cowl you can see two small channels at the corners where the wires can fit. Just wrapped them with some heat shrink tubing and you can barely see them.

PERFECT!!!!!!! I'll use some plastic wire guard in place of the tape.

Didn't even see that spot. Hard spotting a black hole in a black jeep, LOL!

Thanks so much.

Yeah dude no problem. Here is what it looks like from the front. Just tucks right into the corner of the cowl. I have the wire guard but tape as well. I really didn't want the connectors getting any water.
