Hinges

Hey I looked all over this site for aftermarket hinges and came up with not a heck of a lot. I was wondering if any one new of a company were you can get complete hinge kits doors, trunk, hood etc. I can find a few individual ones but I'm planning on doing some painting and I really like a complete matching black stainless set. Thanks!

Wanted to do the same thing but due to price I just painted my existing hinges flat black. You can get new oem hinges from quadratec for like $100 if I remeber. That's doors and hood.

What did you use to paint them I know the mirror and trunk hinges are cast aluminum and I've heard getting paint to stick can be a pain without a etching primer.

I painted grille and door hinges with primer and rattle can auto paint from autozone. Biggest thing is sanding off existing paint.

I bought a set of rugged ridge I believe they were and they were horrible thin and sloppy sent them back that same day!! I ended up sanding mine down and rustoleum bedlined them about 3 coats and about 2 coats of clearcoat and they turned out amazing! My jeep was already black and this just made it stand right out! Did ALL the hinges even the tailgate hinges.

Is that that textured stuff or just the plain rubberized?

It was textured. But once the clearcoat went over wasn't so bad.
