any1 have any thoughs on gluing a hockey puck to the pad at the bottom of the spring to add the extra inch or so of bumpstop to accomidate a 2" bb lift????
I glued 1 inch aluminum spacers with JB Weld to the bottom of the front pads and they are still working fine. I can not be sure with hockey pucks but Gorilla Glue seems pretty strong. It may be worth a try just make sure it is all clean.
When my jeep was apart installing the lift kit, i drilled and tapped a hole in the center of the lower spring perch. Then drilled out 2 hockey pucks for either side and used a bolt and a large washer to attach them. Cheap easy and quick.
