Home Service Manual

I need a service manual for my 2005 TJ. I don't want to rebuild the engine, just simple routine home maintenance oil changes and stuff. Any recommendations?

There are a few guys on here who can send you one PDF to have on your computer. I got one but the file is to large for me to send. Somebody will chime in.

Look on ebay. I just bought the service manual, service manual supplement, and powertrain diagnostic manual three days ago for $35 shipped. Oh they aren't the Hayne's manuals either. They are the Chrysler factory service manuals, gently used of course.

^ What john said. Printed books are the best. Well worth the money. It's nice to have the book in front of you when you're wrenching on the jeep.

same exact 2 manuals i got, same place and roughly the same $$

got the haynes 1st but it's kinda useless. then i got the digital version for like $3 off ebay but like the printed version better.

if you do look on ebay, look around and if there aren't any good deals, give it a little time-prices are all over the place. good to see they are comming down-around the holidays they were way out of line on what they were asking for them.

I am late to the party as well but any help for a 2003 Rubicon and 2008 X would be great. I am looking at the Haynes manuals, are they any good? TIA

The Haynes are what they are, they are not factory manuals.

Here's an online (free) of most of the Jeep manuals.
Jeep Knowledge Base

Pick your Jeep, and what you want to look at.

I downloaded all of them and found some are labeled with wrong years. So double check.

Thanks for the heads-up, I created an account and pulled down the TJ SM but they did not have anything yet for the JK. WOW, that is some great information though. Thanks!
