Homemade instatrunk ideas

Well I took out my carpet and getting ready to raptor the tub. The hi-lift, sub, and amp are no longer wasting space in he back. I am wanting to build something similar to bestops instatrunk and would like some ideas of what you all have come up with. Still need the back seat so just something to cover from the back of seat to the tailgate. Pics would be great! Thanks

Someone on here did something like this a while back and this is what I ended up with. It's not Fort Knox but it is somewhat secure and keeps things out of sight.

Some great ideas for sure. Really got the wheels turning now. Just wondering with the top of the trunk in place and no back can the seat just be flipped forward to get to the trunk area?

you could very easily use two keyed alike paddle latches instead of the mirror hangers and make that setup both easily removable and lockable/more secure

It is very easy to remove with the tailgate opened. I just rotate the clips and lift it off. Most of the stuff I made it with was available at home so that's what I went with. Like most security items, they just keep honest people honest. I might look into the locks though.
