Hood Latches

Does anyone know how to take off the stock hood latches? There is a bolt under the fender but when you try to socket it off, the bolt just spins.

Under the piece of rubber that connects the latch, you can see the top of the bolt, it should have a square piece attached to keep it from spinning, but it might have broke on yours. You'll need to remove the top part of the latch to use something to hold the top part of the bolt.

I had the same problem..... ended up using a hacksaw. I cut the top of the bolt into a pie and ripped the pieces off. It worked great, just make sure that you protect your fender.
