Hood Latches

I'm looking to get new hood latches. Mine are all faded and I have painted them before but the paint just chips right off. I'm looking to see what people have used and have had good experiences with

yessir,
been trying to find a pic...
I started with the stock latches, then tried the Rugged Ridge polished stainless latches.
Both of these were OK but still got 'hood flutter' on the highway.

Now running these Drake Offroad billet latches. You can dial in the tension. In fact Drake reccommend that ideally, they be hard to open/close.
Hood is solid as a rock.
EDIT: Since I got these, you can now get the center turnbuckle in black.

Those are what I am going to get in a couple of weeks. How hard are they to install?

Install is quite easy - The Drake latches were easier to install than the Rugged Ridge stainless latches.
Best to give your current hardware a blast with your favorite penetrant to make them easier to remove.

It can be tricky to get the tension just right. Someone posted a great link to a Youtube tutorial on setting the tension which made everything very clear but I can't find the link.
