How are jeep wrangler TJs versus deer?

I never looked this up before and was wondering if anyone had any experience or knowledge about how a jeep holds up against those kinds of accidents. Also tips or warnings would be great.

If it is lifted, don't swerve, just run the deer over. If you swerve, the jeep will end up on top of you instead of on top of the deer.

Agreed with above poster. You can just run the deer over but Jeeps, even stock, are pretty stout. Many Jeeps that get in wrecks like that can drive away easily.

You can also get a big a** grill guard for protection.

Oh I'm Stock but I have a stainless steel bumber that covers the grill and tires.

Get them with an arrow first, then give them a courtious ride in the Jeep to the freezer. Way less damage that way then running them over.

I had a deer strike my Jeep - Driver's door and rocker panel. Here is what the Jeep looked like within a year after it happened.

Eight years later, this is what the Jeep looks like - Deer dent still visible on the door, but the rocker guard covers lower body damage.
