How common is it to come by a TJ in the junkyard?

As the title states I havent really gone to the truck/SUV section of my local junk yard so i was wondering how often/commen it is to come by a TJ in the junk yard. My one reason i want to find one is i want a set of hard doors. Anyone ever see one in a yard?

If you ever manage to see one, the first things to go are the top, windshields, doors and axles I saw a fully running YJ with a bent rear cross member come in one day but they were only selling it as a whole lol

TJ's are all over the local boneyards here. But never in 1 piece. The tops and engine are hot tickets. I've seen a few with stock doors. What state are you in?

I went to three of my local junk yards in that past 2 weeks, and found 3 of them total. I have been looking for full doors my self. so i went and found 3, 1 of them had nothing left on it, and the other one only had a windshield and one dented door. the 3rd had everything, from a hard top to D44 rear and D30 front, ( somebody must have changed the rear axel out) and went back the next day to take some stuff, and everything, EVERYTHING was gone. FML!

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is your best bet for finding Wranglers in your area. One near mine, I got the soft top for $100 complete.

What part of PA? Trevose yards have quite a few yards. Plus, always scavenge on Craigslist

I've never seen a TJ in a junkyard here in the San Diego area. I think the Jeep specialty junkyards up in Los Angeles County buy them all up to sell parts off them at premium prices.

Like Jerry said, scarce in SoCal. But I did find a passenger side sun visor for $25. Better than $79 which the dealer quoted.

No wranglers here in IL at all of any make. It doesn't matter if its a rust hole on 4 wheels someone will drive it. I have looked. I was thinking of selling my hardtop and full doors sense I'm beating the body up so bad. I just can't bring myself to do it even thought its just sitting in my garage collecting dust.

I've only seen two jeeps in junkyards that I've been to, both were in Flint MI, one was a CJ? and the other was a YJ, both were stripped of almost everything and in bad shape.
