How do you bleed the clutch on 99 tj? Is it the same as yj?

My oil leaked out in clutch put more dot 3 fluid in it try to pump it up but still not getting any pressure what so ever? Anybody bleed there clutch on their tj

I don't think they are designed to be bleedable.

Never tried it on a TJ or a YJ, but I did have to do it on an older toyota carolla. I ended up loosening/opening the line at the clutch cylinder on the firewall and having my gf push in the clutch. A couple of cycles of that and it was good to go.

Not sure if that would (or even could) work for you though.

They are a sealed unit not made to be serviced. If your hydraulic fluid leaked out what have you done to keep that from happening again? If the seals leaked the unit needs to be replaced.
