If you have half doors, there are a couple of screws you need to remove on the door panel and the two screws holding the interior door pull. Once the screws are out there are several door panel clips you have to pop loose, they make a special tool for this, but if you are careful a long thin screwdriver will work. Take out the three plastic bushings at the top of the door panel that the upper window frame slides into, these will just pop out. Then you can remove the door panel. Look inside where the door latch is located and there are two screws, remove those and from the outside you can get to the rod that operates the mechanism. There is a plastic clip that holds the rod onto the door latch, it pops up and swings over and lets the rod free.
If you have full doors...I imagine it's about the same, I haven't pulled one of these apart, except you will have the window regulator mechanism to deal with. Most doors as long as the window is fully up you should be able to get to the latch mechanism though.
