Been 130,000. All done by me. Florida to Alaska. Stints in North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, 6 years in AK. Drove through Canada twice (Justin Bieber and Bryan Adams were not seen luckily) Canada had sweet wildlife. Seen more bears and rams and stuff than in all my years in AK. Now I'm back home in Missouri. Maybe I'll hit Maine someday. great vehicle.

I'm currently at 114K miles or 190K km, tho this being my first full year with my 2001 TJ, I've only put on about 5K km but the longest trip was actually bringing her back home from where I bought it which was 6 hours away Everything else has been local...

Drove From Washington (DC) to Washington and held up like a beauty. Slight makeover when I finished the trip and it looks awesome.

My green '99 TJ Sahara was purchased new (with both tops) by a retired USAF officer in FL who towed it behind his motor home for a while. Then he decided he needed to be towing something else, so he parked it. I think it spent most of its time parked at his NC home while he was at his FL home. Apparently he rarely drove it, but he got it serviced every year, kept all the maintenance records, and took very good care of it. He did have a trailer hitch and a Warn winch installed, but neither looks like it's ever been used. When I bought it from him a few weeks ago, it had less than 43,000 miles on it (some of which was towed miles, so no engine time) and looked like it was fresh off the showroom floor. I had new belts and hoses put on, flushed the radiator, flushed and replaced the fluids in the transmission, transfer case, and both diffs, and am happy as a clam with it. I'll sure as hell put more miles on it than he did. Finding it was such good luck that I'm afraid of the bad luck I might have to counterbalance it.

^ flat towing would not add miles to the odometer if they did it correctly (transfer case in neutral)

I haven't taken a TC apart, but I'm pretty sure as long as the rear driveshaft is spinning it counts miles. Could be wrong

Closing in on 160k, all by me. Countless hunting and camping trips. Louisiana to Minnesota and all points in between.

You are correct. I flat tow mine across the state to have my wife's truck and my Jeep on family visits. Saves us gas and don't add miles.

Only 120,000+ so far but being unemployed for the last 17 months I saved a lot considering I was doing 100 miles a day commuting.
