How many inches?

Tread's gone...time to replace the tires. I bought the jeep used with 31's and a 2 1/2" Pro Comp lift but want to move up to 33's. Will a 1" body lift do it? Will i need to make any other modifications?

what rims u got? 33s with stock backspacing will rub when turning. Most people that switch to 33s usually get new lower backspaced rims (the lower backspacing # more the tires sticks out, stocks are 5.5s), other people that move to 33s keep stock and install spacers and at last others just buy 33s and adjust the steering angle stops so they reduce your steering angle.

You can possibly fit 33s on stock but this will be only good for on road only and they will rub on the slightest flexes. If you offroad a lot than bodylift would help if you just drive it on the road you might be able to pass by without it.

They're the stock rims. I'm not a serious rockcrawler.. but I do like the beach and back country trails, so I don't want any rubbing or decrease in steering. What's my best... most affordable... bet?

The most affordable opption is to get some steel wheels 15X8 with 3.75'' backspace for about $50. If you have any rub, add the 1'' bodylift.

You will need to adjust your bumpstops to keep the tires out of your fenders.

without extended bumpstops 32s already rub with 2" BB and 2" BL. with 1" bumpstop extensions they don´t rub.
