I would like to hear what year your TJ is, your engine type, how many miles, and what your major/semi major repairs have been.

I have owned a 1999 4.0 Sport since December 2012. I bought it with 115,000 and now have 135,000.

I had to replace the alternator, several wheel bearings, front sway bar, manifold, tires, the gas tank guard, and do some frame work.

When I bought it I knew there was going to be some of this work. But now that I have it fixed up, I think I should be good to go for a while. The engine and transmission are great.

I too have a 99 sport with 118k 4.0 5 speed got it last July with 111k. The pass side frame was already fixed but the driver side wasn't so that's on my list to do. Also I did a zone combo lift which gave me a few issues with knocking sounds which I ended up changing all u joints in both drive shafts did nothing, saw the exhaust was hitting the frame from the mml so changed exhaust. Fixed a lil so I just changed the tranny mount. Now the banging gone but bad vibe at idle. When I put the 33s on I desperately need to change my gearing from 3.07 to 4.10s or 4.56. Getting there one piece at a time

2003 Rubicon - 86,000 miles and currently my daily driver, got it 5 years ago from my dad. Haven't had anything major break on me. Just changed out the brake pads for the first time ever. Also just installed OME Ultimate Lift Kit from DPG offroad. Ride is better than ever.

2003 TJ Sahara, 4.0L, 5-speed, 135,000. No problems at all, but I've only owned it for a couple of months. Bad-ass little Jeep!

03 TJ Sport

Bought my 03 Sport in November of 03. Currently has 99,230 miles. I recently had to have the automatic transmission rebuilt. Also, replace u-joints, carrier bearings in rear differential, oil pan gasket, rear main seal (while the pan was off).

She still runs like a top and I still grin every time I get behind the wheel.
