How much plasti dip for my rims

Sorry I know I could have found this, but I'm in a hurry. How many cans of plasti dip do I need to paint my rims and spare. Thanks

I know you need 4 to 5 coats for t to work properly. You could possibly get away with two cans, but mine as well get three just in case.

Cant rememember how many I used but am thinking 3 to to do 4 plus spair. That was also putting on about 3 coats each wheel. Holding up pretty good too.Take the extra time and do a real good job on prepping the rims.

Should be fun. I've got to go around every little rivet.

What prepping do you need to do?

no you don't. you can knock those rivets out of the wheel from the back side. then re-install when done with paint or plastidip

One can will cover a little over one wheel. 5 cans should be plenty, leaving extra for other projects. No sanding, just wash/clean the wheel really well and dry. Paint using light strokes. Too heavy and it will run.
