We don't get much snow here in the southeast... today is the exception. I just cleaned about 3 inches off my soft top. I was wondering how much snow accumulation, before the soft top started to become damaged. As soon as I clean it off, it builds right back up.

Good enough, Thanks. I don't envy you guys that have to deal with this white stuff all the time. What a pain...

This is our first snow in 3 years, and my first with a soft top. I wasnt sure about the fabric and stitching, but I think I'm okay. No way we get anywhere close to a foot of snow around here, except in 1993. I think we got 14" in March, which was a freak act of nature.

you'll be fine then no worries, they thought a little when they designed the top.

The seems on my soft top stretched with the weight of the snow and started to leak. So I got a hard top for the winter.
If you keep the soft top, just clean off the snow and don't let that weight sit there.

This is my first winter with my TJ. Picked up about 14" of snow in two storms last month. LOVED IT. Only lasted a couple weeks but was fun while it lasted. I keep debating a hard top but haven't really seen the need so far. I am consdering full doors so I can scrape the windows on frosty mornings. Enjoy your snow.

Ive had my soft top on for about a week and im putting my hardtop back on. It lets water in in about crevice on the jeep. I dont want to know what would happen in snow.

Maybe its time for a new top? My bestop soft top doesn't let a drop into the cabin.
