Question how much would it be to take 2001 wrangler sport to shop to have pinion seal

my 2001 wrangler sport dana 35 needs a pinion seal how much would it cost to take it some where

I heard someone recently say its about $200 to have a shop replace it. Probably about $25 in parts/fluids and the rest labor (a few hours at a shop rate).

My rear pinion seal is also leaking. I did some research and it doesnt seem to be too bad to do yourself. There is some info here on it.

FWIW, if you take it to a shop, ShopKey (same as Mitchell) labor guide calls for .9hr. Add seal and fluid.

I had pinion seal replace along with diff fluids gaskets, and transmission fluid changed at almost 400$

ok i dont no what to do, take it to a shop or just do it myself. i think my rear brakes need to be done
