how secure is a hard top

I decided to go back to work in the city. So i drive to the bus stop and low and behold when i get home someone unzipped my soft top climbed in and jacked 2 knives $1.60 in change and 2 packs of rice crispy treats. They left my radio, ipod, and a bunch of tools. The last few days j have been riding my bicycle to the bus stop cause the cops told me cara are always getting jacked but when it gets nasty out and i have to drive i wanna keep others out.

Hard tops are as secure as a jeep can get, but if thieves want something really nothing will stop them. Its much easier and quieter to cut or open a soft top than to break a window with the hard top on. I would get a hard top, if if you have further problems I would get an alarm system with a motion sensor inside

At least they didn't cut your windows or top. I don't lock my jeep with the soft top on because it's one less thing to ruin if they don't want to unzip a window.
