how to check the tranny oil?

I have an 03 wrangler that is a manual and i need to check the fluid.. but cant find the fill plug?? i am thinkin it is under my skid plate??

any help??

they have dip sticks for a manual transmission??

I'm not checking the engine oil tho, i am checking the tranny oil

Unless it's different from my 01, you can get to/ change it easily without dealing with the skid. I think it's in the owners manual. From drivers side, crawl under your drivers door and look at the side of the tranny just in front of the skid. It's a recessed plug, think more of a hole that screws out instead of a bolt like your engine oil. I've got some pics in here somewhere, can give you the size of the the bit when I get home. Remove plug and put your finger in and down. Hit fluid and your good, if not add until it runs out of the hole. Real high tech.... And there's no dipstick...
