Is this the "awesome" you are referring to?

That's the stuff! I clean everything except the soft top windows! If you have mud stained tires spray it on straight leave it on for a minute and hose off!

Its funny, I was at breakfast with the g/f and her father last weekend, and he started talking about this "Awesome degreaser" that he uses at the Dollar General Distribution center (he's a mechanic for them.) he was talking it up, which reminded me of this thread, so I thought I'd make sure its the same stuff. Thanks for the heads up. I'll give it a shot.

If you are using a water hose, and you don't have a distributer, you need not worry.

Castrol Super Clean and the hose pipe. It too will take mud stains out of tires, and off the frame/running gear. Don't let it get dry before you rinse it. Then use a leaf blower to dry it off. My only problem is I have a hood mat under my hood and it takes a day for the water to run out of it.

Think they went to coil packs in 2000 on the TJ's.

Cover your air intake or at least don't pour water down it.

I will have to try out "Awesome" next time. Looks like it works better than Simple Green in the engine compartment.

Step 1.
Take garden hose and coil it up, put it away, turn water off...

Step 2.
Grab a couple dozen rags, anything in an aerosol can that cuts grease, and some glass cleaner.

Step 3.
Spray on, wipe off.

Step 4. (Optional)
Take an Armor-All type product (Tire foam stuff is great) and apply to anything that doesn't yet shine. Especially hoses.

Step 5. (Mandatory)
Step back, have beer. Spend next hour touching up what you've missed.

Step 6.
Repeat step 5.
