How to remove fender flares and blinkers?

hello,

i want to install the new 7" flares on saturday.
could you please tell me how to remove the stock flares? are there only a few bolts? what tools do i need?
how do i remove the blinkers and parking light? i want to install the clear lights at the same time. today i tried to unplug the blinker/parking light connectors, but they didn´t come off and i thought that i could damage them.

thanks in advance.

the flares are just held on by a bunch of bolts. some of them have a rectangular plastic "nut" type of thing on the back that you will have to hold while you unbolt it so that it doesnt spin. then the others have a "nutzert" type of thing, those just unbolt like normal

im almost positive that you need to take the fender flare off first, then you loosen the bolts that hold the "little" flare on, then you slide it towards the front end of the jeep and they come off.

btw, a ratcheting wrench comes in handy for taking the flares off.

also, for the rears, you'll need to unclip the wheel-well "liner" to get to the backside of some of the bolts

hope that helps
