How to switch into 4 wheel drive

I know this may sound stupid but I need info on working the 4 wheel drive. I recently bought a 2000 TJ and it did not come with the owners manual. I would like to know what I need to do. Any info would help.

Pull the lever back toward you:
4hi can be done while the jeep is moving slowly forward or from a dead stop.
4lo, works best from a dead stop with the trans in neutral.
To put back in 2wd.. reverse the steps.
