Question HP D30 questions

I just picked up a 95XJ hp30 off a guy who was scrapping his XJ

i plan on regearing and putting in a lunch box type locker

while looking for gears and lockers there doesn't seem to be any difference listed between a lp30 and a hp30...
do you typically have to call the parts dealer to let them know u have a HP30

also,
does anyone have any HP30 parts they would like to sell ie.. 4.10 4.56 gear sets/carrier or a lunch box locker

There is a major difference between high pinion and low pinion gears. The dealer should list them by application. The carriers are going to be the same.

Lockers are the same, but gears are different. You also get into this with D44, etc. Basically, a low pinion front axle is running on the wrong side of the gears and less strong than a high pinion. Low pinion is better for a rear axle.
