Hunting Glass Ball Joints

Man am I having a time: I have a Hardtop with good glass and new support struts for the liftglass... cannot for the life of me...find a replacement ball joint for the glass! I have the body mount ball joints.... just not the doo dads that go through the glass and connect to the lift struts....

SOMEBODY has bound to have come up with a retro-fit?

LOL! you had me going there when I saw the title. I was thinking what the heck does he want glass ball joints for?

Anyhow, factory part numbers for a TJ are 04883496AA 1 Right
04883497AA Left for the ball stud brackets for the glass.

I am in the exact same dilema. I found these on ebay and thought of just cutting them as close as the factory ones. You can get them at the dealer but at a whopping $75 for EACH side.
