I can't find brackets...why?

I was given a tubular chrome rear bumper for my tj. My buddy said it's from his old cj 1986 or something. Anyway. I can'y find brackets for them. Anyone have any idea where I can find those?
It's the brackets that come with the Rugged Ridge Rear Tubular Bumpers. Any Idea?

With the bumper being from a CJ in order for it to bolt on to your TJ you might just have to fab up and weld on a couple of new brackets.

I worked in Manufacterinf for 4 years. I made cutting dies for leather manufacturers. I bended, grinded, cut, welded, drilled heavy steel and blades. Looks like I need to go back to my dads shop anmd pull out the welder. Here I Go...!

Thanks 1blkjp!

It's a tubular chrome bumper, so it obviously wasn't meant to be put on yout TJ!

I'm just givin' you grief! Personally, I'm not a fan of tube bumpers...especially chrome ones. But, of course, it doesn't matter what I think!

I think I might paint them black to match the rest of the Jeep. I have a black and gray theme going. The only thing throwing me off is the light bar because it's chrome. I'm confused right now.

At this point I have a chrome tubular rear bumper with a hitch receiver that was free.

what I know so far is....I need
a 4" lift
35" tires
cb radio
rock lights
10,000 lbs winch
16" offroad wheels
rock sliding rocker guards
and a bikini top......

and over all of this I'm getting married next year.

So...the wedding will cost me about 70 grand and yet I need about 5 grand to make my jeep the way I want it to be.

I've got issues at this point.

Jeep?
Wedding?
Decisions, decisions.

yes here in germany the wifes parents usually pay for the wedding and the husbands parents pay the honeymoons trip.

but with a wife and/or children i wouldn´t have enough money for my jeep. that´s why i never want to marry...

You gave a pretty complete list of equipment that you want to put on your TJ.
"what I know so far is....I need
a 4" lift
35" tires
cb radio
rock lights
10,000 lbs winch
16" offroad wheels
rock sliding rocker guards

To add to your financial woes, if you go with 35" tires you want to regear and probably will need to add a SYE. Since you are equipping your ride with trail gear (like sliders and winch), you will need to have a front bumper that can take the stresses and strains like winch pulls. I don't believe that tubular bumpers are rated for that kind of pull. Also unless you plan to go off road without a spare then you're gonna need to consider what you plan to do with the spare. You can't hang a 35" tire off of the stock spare holder (at least not for very long - the weight will sag the tailgate badly). You will need a stout rear bumper with a tire rack that can support the weight of the 35" spare and I don't think that tubular bumpers offer that kind of structural strength.

Don't know about SoCal but in TX, tube bumpers are for wannabes.
IMHO
