Nice Jeep, I also have a black 01 with a hard top and soft top. You'll get the hang of the stick and it will become second nature.

Do you have any plans for the Jeep? Lift, tires, wheels, or anything else?

Its a 60th aniversary 01 around 120k miles and I got it for 8,900.
I plan on plugging the screw in the tire, somehow fixing the rust on the corner of the window(any help fixing that?) painting the rear view mirror base so it won't corrode. And learning how to take the top off and the doors. What do I need, I think i need a good torx wrench set but what else?

Some WD-40 or PB Blaster and some muscle. once you take off the nuts on both of the pegs, your probably going to need to pull up on the door and wiggle it back and fourth, especially if they have never been removed before. I find it is easiest to open the window and grab it from there. actually it's easiest to have someone else do it for you, but if you don't have that then you gotta do it yourself. it is also a good idea to lube door pegs and the inside of the holes so they slide better in the future.

ah just get under it and kinda push up. Im looking at ahem, stocking stuffers. What tools or kits do y'all have? I heard horror stories about rusted torx bolts and I think thats what lowers the windshield. I kinda want to tinker with the jeep and understand it better (I got the jeep itch).
