I Got One

Attachment 227500
'98, 4cyl, 5spd 115,000 miles

To paraphrase Bruce Springsteen "she ain't a beauty, but hey, she's all right"

In excellent shape mechanically, body is solid with a couple minor dents and the electrics all work.

Needs a new top, upper door skins and tires ASAP

Congratulations! With a little bit of love, a wash, and elbow grease she should turn out great.

Give 'er a good cleaning and paint the fender flares with Kryon Fusion Black Satin. Get some 31" tires with black rims and I think you will be amazed out how it will transform into a diamond.

thanks everyone. I'm ordering a new top and door uppers this week and it should be warm enough this weekend to give it a good cleaning inside and out. I got it for $3700

After buying the Jeep and getting ready to lay out money for a new top there isn't anything left in the bank for tires AND wheels. In a few weeks I'm going to get some rubber that will fit on the stock wheels... Flynn's Tire down the street from me has a good price on 235/75/15 Goodyear Wranglers. They'll do for now... unless my quarterly profit sharing is better than I expect, then maybe some Crager Soft 8's and 31's

No need to pay retail for tires. I've had great luck buying nearly new tires off craigslist.

I scan through Craigslist about once a week looking for deals on parts and tools. With tires I just keep in mind the additional cost of having the tires mounted and balanced vs the all inclusive price at Flynn's
