I hate the t-case drop

its ugly, acts like a mud scoop...

do i positivley, absolutely, 100% have to have it, or can i ditch the spacers and put it back up.. i only have a 2.5" lift and no vibs or death wobble (yet)

will is stress the driveline?

how's the tummy tuck thing work?

Do you have to have it? Possibly not, you just have to take it out and drive and see if you have vibes or not. If anything, you may only need a couple washers, not the whole big drop most kits provide!

Will it stress the driveline more? Yes, but it is not that big of a deal.

Tummy tucks push the transfer case up in order to use a flatter skid plate. Which allows more ground clearance.

I'm sure someone who knows more than me will answer soon but I thought you didn't need a t-case drop unless your lift was more than 3 inches. I could be wrong though.

I already told you! It's trial and error. They are all different. Take it out and see if you have vibes. I have a 2.5" lift that is closer to 3" and I needed a small drop. I have 5 washers that drop it between 3/8" and 1/2" and it works fine.

+1, remove it, and drive it, if you get vibes add a cpl washers and try again.

(no 1st hand experience, but I've read this at least 100 times on this and a cpl other forums.)

Each is different. My RE 2-1/2 kit included it. I put it in along with their rear axle shims and have had no vibes.

Every TJ is different. If there are no vibes everything is ok.

Here are some good write-ups for how to add or remove the transfercase drop plus bolt sizes.
