I love brown santa!

Over this past weekend Me and Ahhst ripped out my old smashed/leaky steering box, and bolted on a Durango steering box (works like a gem).
Then, today Brown Santa brought me my new GenRight steering box skid!

I don't know if there is anything better that driving up to your house and seeing a brown box sitting on your porch with your name on it!

Thats a lot better looking than my brown santa... he kinda looks like billy bob thorton, but a little heavier and a lot crankier becase we order thoose 80# packages that don't have to come freight...

Yea working at UPS store and knowing how some drivers or hub workers treat packages i always advise customers to not put fragile stickers or arrows. It seems to me those are just indications for them to beat it up! Then pissed of box recipients come into the store and yell at me lol

With something weighing as much as that winch does (probably over 100lbs) you're lucky there is a box still wrapped around it. If the winch didn't work, then I'd be a little upset.

My brown santa is a family friend who leaves treats for my dogs, or feeds them a treat if they are outside.

Yea that's the thing UPS wont file a claim or reimburse you if the item still works plus are there any stickers indicating its over 75 lbs I've seen some hub workers and drivers get really pissed when they pick up a heavy item and there's no indicator on it lol. I however dont mind my back and joints are nice and young haha.

Nevermind i see the stickers. The part that jumps out at me is that the shipping label, heavy item stickers, and invoice are on the rough country box and not on the brown box. That being said that's on rough country not UPS. I would assume RC did a whimsidasical job of packaging that bad boy up. So definitely call them up first. All in all if it works it's kind of a lost cause, i understand the frustration but it appears it left the hands of RC like that. Maybe not as beat up, but not properly packaged.
My store standards for packing that would have required us to double box it (adding to the price) and no part of the original RC box it comes in should be visible.
