I must be NUTS!

My wife convinced me to do it.

The Astro van she's been driving has had a few problems, so she's been driving my Rubi. I didn't want her to wear it out in the street as a DD. She wanted a new or newer car.

2011 Hyundai Sonata - traded off the van Monday, still owed over 20K after the trade.
Love it so far -
2.4 L, DOHC, direct fuel injection, 195 HP, 24 city, 35 highway, 6500 redline, and most of the goodies available.
You'd never know it was a 4 banger - It's faster than most v8's, and corners like it's on a rail.

Crazy yes, we already have 11 other vehicles she could drive, but no, it had to be new.

Just lock me up!

11 others - way too many!
7 are 4 wheelers, a sub, another Astro van, a 2wd Grand Cherokee, and a motorhome - not counting 2 trailers.

At least I didn't increase the total fleet number by trading off the van.

A fortune in tags and insurance!

Not to mention interest on 20 grand over 60 months. By the time you pay it off it will be a 30,000.00 car. You must love your wife. Not to be brutal. I buy what the wife wants. I understand.

I am a chick, and that is just insane. Insane, I say.

I would suggest selling the extra vehicles...to take her on a nice trip, or just go on and hand it over to her. She is gonna get it anyway from the sound of it.

That's not nuts. I would have 4 vehicles now if I had the room. They all have their uses! Gotta keep the TJ for trail fun and bad weather. Car for highway/cruising and daily driving. A pickup for, well you know. Then a bike or whatever else just for fun!

All that's assuming I financed it.

Actually I do intend to sell a Cherokee, a "highly built" M38a1, a rock crawler Tracker, and the 4x4 Chev pickup.

It's a good thing you don't live in NJ, Insurance for 11 vehicles would cost you five figures.

Maintenance has to keep you very busy. May as well open up a service bay.

The 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a sharp vehicle, the flagship of the Hyundai brand, they say. I know some Toyota lovers, not far away, they bought themselves a new Sonata. That says something.

There is a recall or two, on them, most recently with regard to steering, so you might want to check that out. Click here. Wouldn't want that new Hyundai damaging those other vehicles.

Wonder what CEO in the Hyundai organization will get turffed for that glitch.

Sold the 96 Ford Ranger yesterday.

Wife was actually crying when I came back in house after watching it go down the road!!

Edit:
I did forget to mention the 1977 what ever it is, motor home, that is kept at bother in laws though, so I'm still at 4 vehicles!!

Nope. 02 GT with a kenne bell blower and the maximum motorsports max grip package. It will take a stock 03-04 cobra, but almost nobody has a stock terminator! The 03-04 cobras are still my favorite mustang, but the new 5.0s are killer too! They have a smog legal blower kit that puts down 600+ on 91 octane.
