I need a rear seat

I have a 2006 TJ Unlimited. I purchased a Smittybilt seat that says it's compatible for my model...NOPE!! I am fine with a used seat of any color, the problem is everyone selling something used on Ebay says it's compatible but unless it comes out of an unlimited, I'm leary. Not only is the bolt pattern different, the way the seat sits in the vehicle is different as well. All of the aftermarket companies say the Smittybilt is compatible. I've been in contact with Smittybilt directly, supposedly they are working to get their re-sellers to change the compatibility listings. Are there any good national used places I can get one from? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Is the unlimited floor hardware really different from the std TJ? 97-02 mounting hardware is different from 03-06. Either can be bolted in a TJ as long as you have the floor mounts for the year.

You don't need a rear seat, You're an adult, either use your room or pack blankets.

Any TJ 03-06 seat should work. Or get all new Mastercraft suspension seats....

I have a seat I'm not using. Makes a great video game chair. You know, from back in the day when I didn't have a girlfriend and I used to play.

Just changed mine to a Corbeau 40" baja. Very nice! Old one is now a garage seat.
