I thought I have a TJ!

I just got my registration card from the DMV, and it says that my jeep is a CJ! Does the state know better than me in this case? It's a '97 and so was obviously available in the year '96... So, what?

If the 10th digit of your vin# is a "v", thens its a '97 and would make it a "tj"

No such thing as a 1996 TJ or YJ.

CJs haven't been made since the 80's. Your DMV just got something wrong... all 1997-2006 Wranglers are TJs. My 1997 TJ was manufactured 3/96.

As long as the Vin # and plate matches, I wouldn't sweat it.

Think of the Ebay or Craigs list ad you could do.

The only 97 CJ know to exist, with documentation from the DMV. LOL!
