Talking I thought you would think this pic was funny...

Well this picture is a year old but I forgot about it until now. Here is what happened, I had set up an offroading trip on a trail near me and this guy that my friend knows really wanted to take his 2WD Lexus SUV with us. I advised him not to and told him that I would not winch him out because I have a rule about pulling out 2WD cars: I don't do it. Well he went anyways and decided to climb a hill after me, with ruts in it, SIDEWAYS. Well he got stuck of course and people had to stand on the side of it to keep the $70,000 car from flipping. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. He never went with us again.

And this is after we got the guy out. Oh did I mention he brought a girl along to try to impress? Yeah he also put a huge dent in the door too. Thats my Jeep as well before I lifted it and and did a lot of other things to it.

That's a Lexus LX470 and they're ALL 4wd. They don't make them any other way. Maybe he should figure how to engage it.

Oh, and by the way, not only is it 4wd it also has front and rear lockers.

Thanks for the info. A quick search yeilded a website with no prices. No time to look further now. I will later though because I already have a winch for it, but no way to mount it. Thanks for the info.

That reminds me of when I came across a stuck Toyota FJ Cruiser in the sand dunes. The guy was swearing it was 4wd, so i got in the FJ to try and rock it out, long and behold it was a 2wd.

He was such a poser with the big oversized tires. I am not hating on the FJ because I have seen some sick 4wd FJ's.

We were out messing around at my buddy's farm one day when we were like 18 and a buddy's little brother drives out to the mud hole in an Oldsmobile Bravada..

To set the picture for you.. others on had were: 1989 GMC Jimmy 4x4, 1983 CJ-5 with winch an 35's, 1999 Z71...

So little dude in his AWD Bravada decides.. speed is his best bet against the ruts and takes them at about 25mph. These were deep ruts made by the aforementioned vehicles.. Needless to say an Olds doesn't have skid plates.. motor starts to knock and we he keeps gassing it.. we're yelling and he finally cuts it off. Open the hood.. Oh, there's all the oil.. Oil Pan fail..
