I want to put a different trans in

I have a 97 TJ with the 4 cyc and a manual trans.
I have heard that this trans is week.
And I want to put a snow plow on it.
I would like to keep the engine because I just spent a lot of money on the air conditioning , water pump , alternator ,ete.
Does any know of a manual trans that would fit and is a stronger trans
then the one in there now?

Thanks
JimL
