I wish I had a video!

I decided to go wheeling toninght down a creek. It was parcaly frozen. We started down the creek and found it was way deeper than we thought and had large rocks and trees under the water. We started boncing around and found the water to be about head light level. I stayed in the gas and then the creek got super tuff and the tires started spining. I was freeking thinking I would be stuck in the water and its like 2out. Then I realized my 4 low wasn't grabing all the way. So I pulled it a little harder and backed up to a spot I could jump out of the water. The water was so could my belt started sliping and my volt meter droped I thought I was going to have a bad night. We got lucky made it out and home.

Nope, not going to work. We need pictures. Go again tomorrow.

Sounds like an adventure. Do you ever think if you got stuck and left it there overnight, it would be really frozen into the creek by the next day?

You need to get a winch if you're gonna be out there alone, boy.

My friend lives less than a mile away from there. I would have had him come pull me out but it would have sucked getting out in that water!

Put waders in your jeep. Trust me, they will come in handy!

I thought about that before. Last night made it seem like an even better idea.

Given this afternoon I was thinking the waders might have been handy. I swear I need to get a come-along until I have the cash for a winch! At least you got out and escaped the situation without having to call the friend. Next time? Pics!!!

You can use a high lift jack to give you short pulls too.

I may go back this weekend after we get the next 6 inches of snow. I will bring my friends and a camera.

I need to get the high-lift jack. It's one more item on the To-Do list. It's only money, right?

Motok, the snow might make it a whole lot more fun but the real mud comes when the frosted ground softens and melts...
