doesn't really matter what you do.. as long as your doing things that make you like it more, you will enjoy every bit of it. personally i wanted to get the lift and tires done first too, but i wouldn't say that you NEED to start there. start where you want and have fun with it!

x2 on the tires and lift. The bone stock look had to go, and even a set of tires can completely change the look of your rig

Hard to get any decent size bigger tires without some sort of a lift.

You need to know where you want to end as far as lifts and tires but I would start there and do it once. I myself am not a huge fan of huge lifts and tires because I do not use it that way. I went 2 inch lift and 31's and am happy.

Determining what type of wheeling you plan to do and how much wheeling or how often you get out wheeling, will help determine what lift & tires to get as well as armor for your Jeep. After you figure this out and know the specs of your Jeep as well, this will help determine which route to go.

Type of terrain... rocks, rock crawling, mud, sand, hills... etc.

For 33's there are many ways to achieve this.

You can go w/ following examples:

2"BB (Budget Boost) / 1" BL (Body Lift) / 1" MML (Motor Mount Lift)

2" Lift kit from OME w/ BL & MML

3" Econoy Lift kit from Tera Flex or Full Traction

3" Lift Kit w/ control arms, Teraflex, Rubicon Express, Full Traction

4" Lift kit "as stated"

Your best bet would be to look thru the "LIFT REVIEW" sticky at the top and get an idea of the different lifts people have used and the comments about them as well.
