If it looks too good to be true...

Can it be?
This is blowing my mind right now: http://nh.craigslist.org/car/721385968.html

I keep refreshing the page expecting to see that the person who posted it inadvertantly left off a "1" at the beginning of the price or something.

What do you guys think of that? $3,500 with all those upgrades?

i don't understand the bs on craigslist. i've never used it, but what does that do?

i use ebay all the time, and there's nothing like that.

Ebay is full scams and crazy stuff just like this one. I have even had my ebay account hijacked and had a scammer using it and my past listings to try to make money. Lucky me that Ebay caught it and froze my account. It was a pain in the butt to get fixed but worth it to know they are on top of it most of the time.

you can get some very good deals on Craigslist, but you just have to be careful. I bought my TJ off of it and just las week i bought a set of full hard doors in excellent condition from a guy for $200. i had to drive a hour and a half to go get them but they are getting painted at the body shop today.

+1. Just bought my '99 SE found on the NH Craig's List. I only paid $5800 for it with 77k miles on it and no issues. The advantage of CL over fleaBay is you get to see it, touch it and drive it, as well as talk to the owner, before you ever commit to buy.

you can do all that on ebay, i got my dana 300 that way, i bought an old mazda pick up to fix and sell that way. but peole do buy things unseen from ebay a thousand miles away. i don't know if cl does feedback, thats a great way to gauge the seller. on ebay most of these people are using it as their income, so feedback is most important. sketchy people are easy to spot, with low or no feedback.

I put my Sportster on Craigs list today to offset the new (old) Wrangler purchase. It took about an hour and I had a buyer that came over. He says tomarrow he'll have cash.

Makes me wonder if I didn't ask enough.
