I'm a newbie and I need help!

Can someone point me in the right direction here? My jeep (97 with a 2.5, 5 speed) died going down the road and now will just crank but not start. I've replaced asd relay, cps, checked fuses and plugged and unplugged every spot I can to check for bad connection. Also, I forgot to note, the fuel and amp gauge stopped working at the same time and I can't pull codes with OBD II cause it just shows error. Is it my computor that's gilflirted? Also checked and not getting fire to plugs.

Are you getting fuel?

It does sound like your computer went. I wouldn't get a reading from my computer when it went. You can also check to see you you get a reading from the computer with the differant sensors pulled. One of them could be malfunctioning, taking out the computer.

check the connector for the fuel pump. Look for it above the rear top driver side control arm mount.. or close to that area near the gas tank. The wires are known to pull out. I think the fuel pump wire is either green or black. Try moving the wire's then go and try to start the jeep.
