Nice collection. Only 1 of my 4 children ever drove my YJ. The others were too lazy and are now all adults on their own. She is a lucky kid.

Personally I think every "kid" should start in a Jeep. Full Frame, almost a roll cage, not a lot of power, easy to work on, and gas cost enough that just "joyriding " is kinda limited.

Thanks everybody. She is all ready wanting me to plasti dip the headlight bezels and the chrome on the grill.

I really don't know what lift is on it. I know it's a 4 inch but The shocks have nothing on them. It does have a transfer case drop. Track bars, control arms are oem. It has no vibes at all. There is a very slight wondering to it, not bad at all, but I can tell it's there. Is this what people call bumpsteer? Ride is a little bumpy but I haven't even had time to check what air pressure they were running. I wish I did know what lift brand lift it had.

I'm not sure about others but I know some rough country lifts come with a transfer case drop kit. Might help. Those are some good looking tjs tho!

The shocks look to beefy to be RC shocks. The transfer drop is not like mine. Mine has the pucks to drop it down, This one has what looks like 1" square tubing run the length of the transfer case. If that helps anyone identify it.

The scariest part of putting your 16 year old daughter in a sweet jeep is all the 16 year old boys who will want to go for a ride in the jeep with her.

we all know jeeps are chick magnets but maybe guy magnets too? =P

You should diversify your collection with a Comanche to run parts around

97 TJ was my first "car" and I have been addicted to Jeeps ever since. I was fortunate enough for two things..1 my parents got it for me. 2. they got me the 4cyl. Not like any jeeps( wranglers) were/are fast but but I drove that little singer sewing machine as hard as I could....what a blast!

Congrats..its should be a fun, safe, and reasonable choice for her.

Pretty girls in Jeep Wranglers are boy magnets! Yes, you're doomed! You're doomed to a never ending parade of pimply faced boys looking to get on your good side! I know, my 17 year old daughter, Kennedy has a new following after having driven both her Mustang and the Wrangler to school!

My girl (and her younger brother, Jake)...

I seem to remember that pretty blue 4 door one at Turkey Bay when it still had the sticker in the window. And my daughter just totaled my TJ and was unhurt. I took it to TB last weekend and I have even more fun wheelin it now.

Yea, I have a skyjacker lift on mine and its the same. Im in the process of getting a sye and belly up plate. It has always bothered how low the skid plate hangs down.
