Im new to the forum for starters, HI and i need help!
SO, heres the problem. My mom bought her dream vehicle, a 1997 jeep wrangler with a 2.5L. From the day she bought it, it has had problems. Ive replaced so much on it that ive almost lost track of all the new parts on it.
now here is what its doing now. as you get to high rpms and sometimes low too OR hit bumps, it starts to backfire and cut out REAL BAD. Basically stalls. when it does this ALL the gauges will drop like you just shut it off and then pick back up in a split second. It will run fine for awhile, then it will have another episode till you have to pull over with it. im fed up with it.
heres what I have replaced on it: ECU, ignition coil, ignition pickup, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, crank position sensor, both O2 sensors, all the sensors on the throttle body, water temp sensor, radiator, shocks, rear axle, all bushings, exhaust, wheels, tires, i hate it, i hate it!
So please anyone help me figure this one out cause i cant stand working on it anymore, save it from the fire
