Yes it is a Rubicon, I ran the VIN#
Finally found the gem I have been looking since November 2014 for! SO EXCITED :iamhappy:
The owner is a custom detailer/painter so he painted it himself.
And just found it this week! Looking at it once I get on Easter break for school. Then 99.9% sure that I'll purchase. Looks to be in phenomenal condition and it's taken me 5 months to find a Rubi LJ like this.
Only 59,000 miles and almost bone stock with no off-road abuse. Can't beat it
Haha I'm an academic nerd, I hate missing class. Yes he is holding it for me. Unless someone comes along and throws $30,000 at him then I'd understand but yes he's holding it for me barring an insane situation.
VERY nice! I was searching about as long, and just got my LJ, but only unlimited, not rubi. I'm sure it seems expensive, compared to most jeeps you came across, but the low mileage, and no rust, is worth the extra cost, IMO. (mine has 20k miles)
Some here may say that's a little high, but we're the ones that have been looking for half a yr! Compared to what I paid, yours seems a good deal, especially a rubi. I paid 17,750. Not sure where ur from, but I'm in ohio, and I had a hell of a time finding little to no rust, so I was willing to pay extra for that. I only put 7k miles on my cars, so my 20k find should last me yrs and yrs! Also, It has 2inch lift, aftermarket rims and tires, bumper, rocker panels, and the stock rims and tires are still brand new. Yours has a hard top! I want one, and if u do, then that's worth 1-1.5k used.
Is there anything specific I should look for or check out on a LJ?
Also would the 33's with no lift be an issue with rubbing or bumping?
And lastly does the hard top on a LJ really affect the price that much? I've seen people say it in increases the price by $1.5-2K?
Ya figured I would need a lift unfortunately.
I like the customized painting he did personally but I understand that most won't.
And I mean LJ Rubi's are pretty dang rare so can't really blame the high price and demand for them.
I won't off-road much at all but I may throw a 2" lift on it but nothing extreme like these off roaders.
I'll do lots of LED stuff, probably bumpers on front/rear, rock sliders, things to try and protect it. I'm in college so this is NOT a purchase I will take lightly or not baby with care
