Installed my Rampage/Softtopper Fast Back Top! Pictures

Yesterday I finally got around to installing my softtopper fast back top. I had a hard top on before and this is my first time dealing with a soft top. INstallation was extremely simple and stright forward. The quality of the top is great and the fit was good right out of the box. here are a few pics...

hard top on...

I made a stand for my hard top. It is bolted to an old jet ski trailer I have...

No top...

New top...

So far I really like the top, but my only complaint is that it is a lot louder than my hard top in terms of wind noise when driving faster than 45mph.

Looks great. I don't think I have ever seen the words "simple" and "soft top" used in the same sentence before.

You might want to rethink your hard top storage though. Not being on a flat surface, it will warp.

haha, honestly the top was really simple and easy to deal with... and the picture of my hard top is a little bit deceiving. The top is on a flat board that is bolted to the trailer. I made the board equal to the width of the mounting surface of the top and then drilled holes in the board and bolted the top to the board. So basically the top is bolted to the board just like it would be bolted to my jeep. The only concern I had was that the front of the top isn't supported so I put a pole under it to take some weight off.

thanks for the comments and yes, the top came with everything I needed... softtopper gave me a great deal. I got the top, the windshield header bar, the door surrounds, the rear brackets, and all the harware for $475. I'm not sure if softtopper still has the deal going on, but I couldn't be happier for the price. I was going to buy a Viking Fast Back but it would have been over $1,100 after all the parts were added in.

looks great! In fact i have this same top sitting in my garage. I cant wait to put it on. Unfortunately one of the end caps for the header bar was broken during shipping so im waiting for softtopper to send me a new one. Hopefully it gets here soon. Its ok though cause the weathers been so nice here that the tops been down for a little over a week straight.
