Well I finally got around to replacing the gasket. When I purchased the jeep a year ago, It was leaking a little from the back. I originally thought it was the rear main. But it turned out to be the rear of the valve cover. So today I ran some seafoam thru the oil for about 15-20 minutes. Took the cover off and replaced the gasket. The one real pain thing about this job was the rear screw. Hard to get to with the wire loom over it. I then drained the oil, did a filter change, also installed new plugs. I really can't see/feel a diff, in the ride. The jeep always ran great. But the old plugs were worn! So maybe I'll see some better gas milage. If not at least there won't be nomore oil stains on the driveway. LOL.
