Installed rough country 2.5 lift today

Pretty happy with it...the ride is pretty nice. I went with it over spacers. For the money i figured it was decent. I got the shocks and springs. Next is the 1 inch body lift.

Nice job. I want to do the same next spring. How long did it take you? How does the ride compare to what you had?

looks good , make sure you reset your Toe-in ( 1/8 to 3/16" ) and check the caster, dependent on what size tires your are going to run .

I got it from roughcountry.com It only took a few hours. Would have been quicker but i had to run out for a spring compressor. Overall it was pretty easy. I'm looking at going with a 32 or 33 tire by summer. I still have a 1" body lift to put on.

I did the RC 2.5" springs and OME shocks with 32x11.5 bfg muds. Love the setup. Perfect tire clearance don't need bump stops like I would if I went 33's. With the ome shocks it rides soooo nice.

Hello,

I have a 99 wrangler i ust bought and it has a 2.5" spring lift and put 235 75 15 wrangler tires on it and it seems to wander at 55-60 mph does anyone have any suggestions? it seems to go down the road straight with no issues except when you get up to speed it wanders. Front end align or should i have gotten bigger tires?

Can u Post a pic, this is exactly the configuration I desire. Are the ome shocks worth extra?

2.5" RC coils, OME shocks, 1.25" BL, and 1" MML. 32x11.5x15 BFG km2's I don't have anything to compare the OME shocks to besides the stock shocks but they ride way better than the stock shocks, I would say there worth it IMO.
It looks smaller in the pic than it does in person

Same lift I used, but went with the R/C 2.2 shocks, and added a rear track bar bracket.
Around 20,000 miles later no complaints.
